Help! My child/pet has eaten a sachet!Updated 3 hours ago
We understand this can be worrying. We have little ones too, and we're here to help!
Are Sachets Poisonous?
No. Our sachets are safe to have in your home with pets and children.
What's inside:
- Vermiculite - A naturally occurring mineral found in soil
- Fragrance oils - Both natural and synthetic, following global IFRA safety guidelines
Important: We always recommend keeping sachets in their envelope and out of reach of children and pets.
Immediate Treatment Steps
If your child or pet has ingested sachet contents:
Mouth contact: Rinse mouth out with water
Skin contact: Wash with water and soap
Eye contact: Flush with water
Then observe: Continue to watch for any symptoms or unusual behavior. You know your child or pet best. If symptoms persist or you become concerned, seek medical care.
Going to the Doctor or Vet?
We can provide a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for every product we make.
How to Request an SDS:
Email [email protected] with:
- Your name
- Which product was involved
- Your doctor/vet's email address
Don't have their email? Just provide the name and location of their practice, and we'll reach out directly.
We'll send the Safety Data Sheet right away.
After Hours?
Our office hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm EST
If it's after hours:
- Follow the treatment steps above
- Observe for anything unusual
- Seek medical care if you're concerned (even without the SDS)
- Email us your SDS request and we'll send it first thing when we're back in the office
