While we do not intentionally add any animal-derived ingredients to our products, we are not a certified vegan facility.

What's In Our Products

Wax: Our proprietary soy-blend wax does not contain intentionally added animal-derived ingredients.

Fragrances: Our in-house fragrances are formulated without intentionally added animal-derived ingredients. Like most quality home fragrance products, our fragrances contain both natural and synthetic ingredients.

Wicks: Our cotton and paper wicks are made from plant-based fibers.

Glass: Standard glass containers with no animal products.

Vermiculite (in sachets): A naturally occurring mineral extracted from soil.

Why We Can't Claim "Vegan"

We cannot guarantee that every raw material in our supply chain is completely free from animal derivatives or that suppliers have never used animal-derived processing aids. This is why we're transparent about not being a certified vegan facility.

Additionally, we cannot verify the complete testing history of all raw ingredients from our suppliers, which may be a concern for some following vegan principles.

What "Not Certified Vegan" Means

Vegan certification requires rigorous documentation of the entire supply chain to verify that no animal products or byproducts are used at any stage. While we don't intentionally add animal-derived ingredients, we haven't pursued this certification process.

The Bottom Line

Greenleaf does not intentionally add animal-derived ingredients to our home fragrance products. However, we are not a certified vegan facility and cannot make guarantees about the complete supply chain of every raw material we use.
