No. Greenleaf products are not certified organic. It's not feasible to formulate home fragrance products as organic. Doing so would make our products very expensive, could deplete natural resources, and our products would not have the same signature scents that you know and love.
Why Organic Isn't Practical for Fragranced Products
Cost: Organic certification and organic ingredients would significantly increase the price of our products, making them less accessible.
Natural resource concerns: Creating complex fragrances entirely from organic ingredients could require unsustainable harvesting of natural materials, potentially depleting resources.
Fragrance integrity: Our signature scents simply cannot be replicated using only organic ingredients. You wouldn't get the same Greenleaf fragrances you love.
Consistency: Organic ingredients vary based on harvest, season, and growing conditions, making it nearly impossible to maintain consistent fragrance quality batch after batch.
What We Focus On Instead
While we don't pursue organic certification, we maintain rigorous standards:
Safety first: We adhere to strict safety standards set by the International Fragrance Association (IFRA), which regulates fragrance ingredients worldwide.
Clean formulation: All our products are Paraben, Phthalate, and Formaldehyde Free.
Quality ingredients: Our proprietary soy-blend wax and natural cotton and paper wicks (lead-free and zinc-free).
In-house fragrances: All our scents are created by our team at our Spartanburg, South Carolina facility, using both natural and synthetic ingredients to achieve our signature fragrances.
Extensive testing: Every product is tested for quality, performance, and safe use.
Natural vs. Organic
It's worth noting that "natural" and "organic" aren't the same thing. Our products contain natural ingredients (like soy wax, cotton, paper, and vermiculite), but we don't claim organic certification.
Our fragrances, like most quality home fragrance products, blend natural and synthetic ingredients to create our signature scents. This combination allows us to craft unique fragrances while maintaining consistent quality and safety standards.
